The Edge of Seventeen (2016)

Another tale of how difficult life is when you are a teenager, but this one has good humour, good actors and amazingly not the Stevie nicks song of the same name. Haliee Steinfeld manages to portray a selfish teen without being too annoying and Woody Harrelson is the teacher that everybody should have. Easy and fun to watch especially when you are way past the pain of adolescence but can still remember how difficult is to think you are the only person feeling this way and how no one understands.

Like This Watch These: The Breakfast Club (1985) An absolute classic where 5 very different high school students find they have some similarities, The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015) A wannabe artist teen starts shagging her Mum's boyfriend, Heathers (1988) Let's kill the cool girls, darkly funny.
