Inferno (2016)
The third of Dan Brown's novels to be filmed starring Tom Hanks, and probably the second best to watch, (The Da Vinci Code wins with a more interesting story and Sir Ian Mckellan). Mr. Hanks (not my father or brother) is the ultimate everyman actor, i have never heard of someone not liking him, which makes him the perfect for these films as a bridge to the occasional bursts of history or intelligence. Focusing on Dante's Inferno the action takes place all over the globe and is thrilling at times, Felicity Jones gives good support but it is somehow lacking. Enjoyable and pacey could have been better.
Like This Watch These: The Da Vinci Code (2006) The first and best, Angels and Demons (2009) A bit dull, Bridge of Spies (2015) Tom working with better material.
