Voice From The Stone (2017)

This film should be haunting and suspenseful, it is sadly lacking in both areas which is dissapointing because the story could be portrayed in a far more creepy and mysterious manner. A young boy stops talking after his mother dies, a nanny is brought in to help and she discovers (far too slowly) he hears, guess what, voices in the stones. There is far too much build up and there is a moment towards the end that if the film had ended there it would all have been worth it and it would have become amazing, but then you are dragged back in and left empty.

Better Than This: The Devil's Backbone (2001) (Subs) This is how to do kids and creepy, excellent Spanish horror, The People Under The Stairs (1991) This properly shit me up when i was young, The Orphanage (2007) (Subs) Another great Spanish horror with kids.
