I Am Belfast (2015)

This feels like a Poem and should be viewed as such. Personally i have no connection with and have never visited Belfast so i was occaisionally bored, but the rhythm of the dialogue works nicely and makes you want to be more interested. I feel that the use of a human to personify the city is unneeded and a little distracting. The end is lovely, a great story to finish and some gorgeous Van Morrison music makes you wish it had been that the whole way through. Visually it works well, even though i don't know the place its artisically shot. The history bits are interesting, but it's a slightly indulgent and very niche documentary.
