Films like this also make me want to cry as i don't do well with the cringey/sad comedy it makes me squirm to much to enjoy it. It is well filmed, acted and generally a good film it's just too uncomfortable for my taste, it just makes me sad i don't like the idea that there really are people that feel this way. I am not the biggest fan of going back to my village either but if i were faced with anyone like this from my past i would feel awful and never return. So Peter goes home to collect his Grandmothers ashes and bumps into Donald, who needs to be seen rather than described. Awkward viewing for me personally but a good film.
Like This Watch These: Napoleon Dynamite (2004) I didn't like this as much as everyone else either but it is funny, Grosse Point Blank (1997) The only way to return home in style, as an assassin, Beautiful Girls (1996) Apparently if you are at a crossroads in your life go home somehow all your friends still live there.
