Rear Window (1954)

MUST WATCH My dream place to live is still the apartment square that James Stewart's L.B.Jefferies inhabits in this Hitchcock masterpiece, yes i am a nosey bugger. The joy i glean from every rewatch is evident as i avidly peek into each window to glimpse something i never had before and there is always a treat. My huge fondness of the honorable James Stewart and the effortlessly elegant Grace Kelly might sway my view but the tremendous Thelma Ritter as the staunch nurse Stella is reason enough to enjoy this classic mystery. Far superior to Vertigo, the skill displayed in containing the activity to a room and it's view is masterful as the director truly was.

Like This Watch These: The Birds (1963) Eerie nature attacking, Rope (1948) Getting away with murder, Peeping Tom (1960) A different kind of nosey.
