Life, Animated (2016)

A Touching but never schmaltzy tale of an Autistic Boy becoming a man using Disney films to help him navigate the world. Autism is a very complex condition and no case is the same, this is an interesting view of one person's struggle to interact in so-called 'normal' society. The addition of the animation in this documentary is welcome and well drawn it helps guide the narrative and gives the audience a chance to glimpse human feelings differently. Light and enjoyable definitely not a downer doc.
