Clay Pigeons (1998)

This is one of those quirky 90's movies with a host of up and coming (then) actors, a not terrible script and quite a solid if a little annoying story. What is most surprising is Vince Vaughn, his is an excellent performance of a sly yet cheeky villain and it shows what could have been if he hadn't fallen into a formula that worked and paid well and stayed there stagnating, shame. Otherwise this is watchable and enjoyable little thriller if devoid of any peril and a little hokey. This has a very specific 90's feel to it and i wonder how anyone from the modern generation would react.

Like This Watch These: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) Funnier, grittier and British, Grosse Point Blank (1997) Hilarious, great script, My Cousin Vinny (1992) Another 90's classic, Pesci and Tomei are the best couple.
